NCC to Offer Free Dental Assisting Information Session

Start a new career by learning about the training program and how to get started.

Bethlehem, PA (01/31/2022) — Start a new career as a dental assistant. As a dental assistant you will become a valuable member of the dental health team, and, as part of this team, perform duties requiring application of both interpersonal and technical skills. Under the supervision of the dentist, your job duties will include preparation of instruments, materials and equipment according to the dental care plan, assess and educate clients and gain consent, perform delegated duties within the scope of practice, perform office administration tasks, greet and prepare the client for his/her appointment, and assist the dentist, hygienist and other office staff throughout the workday. Please join us on March 3 for a free fact-finding information session (HINFO103) to learn about dental assisting as a career, the training program and how to get started.

The presentation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on March 3, at the Fowler Family Southside Center, 511 E. Third Street, and be followed by a tour of the dental laboratory.
