NCC Radiography Class Achieves 100% Pass Rate

Grads have exceeded state and national rates since 2013

Bethlehem, PA (10/22/2019) — Graduates of Northampton Community College's (NCC) Radiography Program achieved an impressive 100% pass rate on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) national certification exam in 2019. Graduates of Northampton's program have exceeded the state and national pass rates since 2013.

"We are very proud of NCC's Radiography Program graduates who, under the guidance of highly skilled NCC faculty and clinical instructors and staff at Easton Hospital, Grand View Hospital, Lehigh Valley Health Network and St. Luke's University Health Network, pursue excellence in education and dedication to high-quality patient care," says Steven Iacono, director of NCC's Radiography Program.

NCC's Radiography Program curriculum combines science, general education, and professional courses conducted on the college's Bethlehem Campus with extensive clinical education performed at area hospitals. Students learn with state-of-the-art imaging technology in the two radiographic rooms in the Wogenrich Lab, allowing them to practice their skills in a structured and competency-based environment.
