NCC to Hold Information Session on Architecture and Interior Design Programs

These occupations combine technology with creativity

Bethlehem, PA (10/23/2018) — Northampton Community College (NCC) will hold a free information session about its architecture and interior design programs on Thursday, November 8, 5:30 - 8:00 p.m., starting at the College's Enrollment Center, Bethlehem Campus, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem Township.

Graduates of the NCC architecture program will be prepared for transfer into an accredited five-year bachelor of architecture professional program leading to a three-year internship and NCARB Examination to practice architecture. NCC architecture graduates have transferred to 30 different universities.

Graduates of the interior design program are prepared to meet the demand for professionally trained interior designers in both residential and contract design. The associate's degree holder may gain employment upon graduation or pursue a four-year degree. Computer technology and presentation skills are woven through the curriculum. The four semester design studio sequence is the heart of the program.

The information session will include a tour of the learning labs and facilities and financial aid, payment options and career exploration.

Participants will have opportunities to meet the faculty, speak with students and connect with successful alumni.
