New Members Named to NCC's Psi-Beta

Bethlehem, PA (06/01/2021) — The Northampton Community College (NCC) Psi-Beta National Honors Society in Psychology chapter welcomed new student members during the virtual induction ceremony on May 24. The following students were inducted into Psi-Beta:

Kathryn Frances Dabrowski, Kayli Ann Yates, Kenneth C. Hart, Marsha Singletary-Rodgers, Michelle Janis Smith, Ryan William Strawn

The mission of Psi-Beta is to encourage professional development and psychological literacy through promotion and recognition of excellence in scholarship, leadership, research and community service. The students induced have met the eligibility requirements including completing a college psychology course with a grade of B or higher, completing 12 units of college coursework with a cumulative GPA of 3.25, have an interest in psychology, and demonstrating good standing in the community.

Ariane Medero, one of the advisors to the honors society, says, "It is my honor to announce that these students have become new Psi-Beta chapter members!"
